The leaders of the religious world stray from the Lord’s way and follow worldly trends, they also cooperate with the ruling power’s wild defiance and condemnation of the Eastern Lightning, and they have already begun to walk the path of opposition to God. The religious world has degenerated into the city of Babylon. The Bible says, “And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said to them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but you have made it a den of thieves” (Matthew 21:12-13). “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies” (Revelation 18:2-3). Let’s first read the first half of the passage of God’s word, “God Perfects Those After His Heart.”
“The group of people God wants to gain now are those who strive to cooperate with God, who can obey His work, and who believe the words God speaks are true, who can put God’s requirements into practice. They are those who have true understanding in their hearts. It is they who can be perfected, and they who will inevitably walk the path of perfection. Those without a clear understanding of God’s work, those who do not eat and drink of God’s word, those who pay no attention to God’s word, and those without any love for God in their hearts—people like this cannot be perfected. Those who doubt the incarnate God, those who remain uncertain about Him, those who are never serious about God’s word, and those who always deceive God, these people resist God and are of Satan—there is no way to perfect such people. Her name is Xiao Li. She has believed in God for more than a decade. In the winter of 2012, she was arrested by the Chinese Communist police at a congregation. During interrogation, the police repeatedly coaxed, threatened, battered and tortured her in their attempts to seduce her to betray God by disclosing the whereabouts of the leaders and money of the church. Particularly in one frozen night when the temperature was twenty degrees below zero, she was forcibly stripped naked, drenched with icy water, electrically shocked on her genital, and force-fed mustard water by the police…. She had suffered brutal torture and unimaginable humiliation. During the interrogation, she felt hurt and humiliated. She desperately prayed to God time after time. The word of God gave her timely enlightenment and guidance. With the faith and strength she received from God’s word, she overcame the savage torture and demonic ravage and gave wonderfully resounding witness. Like a winter plum blossom, she exhibited resilient vitality by proudly blooming amid severe adversity, emanating delightful redolence … Continue reading “Victorious Testimonies of Following the Lamb | Christian Movie Trailer “In the Deep of Winter””
Let’s read an article of God’s words, “God Presides Over the Fate of All Mankind.”
“As members of the human race and devout Christians, it is the responsibility and obligation of us all to offer up our mind and body for the fulfillment of God’s commission, for our entire being came from God, and it exists thanks to the sovereignty of God. If our minds and bodies are not for God’s commission and not for the righteous cause of mankind, then our souls will be unworthy of those who were martyred for God’s commission, much more unworthy of God, who has provided us with everything. Today some of our brothers and sisters from South Korea have brought up some issues, in the following I’ll commune my thoughts.
Question 1: The church is led entirely by Chinese people and Chinese people hold all of the authority. Why aren’t Koreans included in the leadership?
Answer: Is this true? Are Koreans included in the leadership now? Are we cultivating South Koreans and North Koreans for leadership roles? The family of God treats all people fairly, no matter what nationality or race they are. All those among them that seek the truth will be cultivated by the family of God. This is what we call non-discrimination, fairness and reason. If Chinese people fail to seek the truth, the family of God eliminates them just like anyone else. Those Chinese, South Koreans and North Koreans that seek the truth are cultivated by the family of God just the same, isn’t this the correct course of action? No matter their nationality or race, the family of God only cultivates those that truly seek the truth. In the same way, no matter their nationality or race, the family of God expels all resisters and condemners of Christ. It is recorded in the Bible that the Lord Jesus condemned the Pharisees to seven woes. Nowadays, the path walked by the pastors and elders of the religious world is that of the Pharisees and they similarly suffer God’s detestation and rejection. So why did the Lord Jesus condemn and curse the Pharisees? It was primarily because they had a hypocritical essence that defied God, because they only paid attention to performing religious rituals and keeping rules, they only explained the rules and doctrines in the Bible and did not put God’s words into practice or follow God’s commandments whatsoever, and they even discarded God’s commandments. Everything they did completely ran counter to God’s will and requirements. This was the hypocritical essence of the Pharisees and it was the primary reason for the Lord Jesus hating and cursing them.
